People
Understand how work flows through people.
People knows when each person on a team is where the work is: on a ward round, in the OPD, at a case review. A small badge does it, with nothing to press and nothing to fill in.

Each card is a presence: five minutes or more in a zone, such as a ward, and the work done in its areas. Places are named to the ward or the room, never a point on a map, and live positions stay masked until someone asks to see one, with a record of who asked.
How a presence happens
Nobody checks in. A badge is seen by the access points it passes, and People’s rule does the rest: five minutes in a zone, such as a ward, begin a presence, and ten minutes away close it. Inside the zone, the time in each Area of Interest is taken to be the work bound to that area. Here is Dr. Kamala’s ward round this morning, as People saw it.

Consulting and Prescription
- First hit in Ward 7, in its patient rooms.
- Five minutes in: a presence in Ward 7 begins, counted from 09:38. Her time in the patient rooms is Ward Rounding, as a rule for the General Medicine Team binds it.
- At the Nurse Station: Consulting and Prescription, still within the same presence in Ward 7.
- Ten minutes out of Ward 7: the presence closes at her last hit, 10:26. 48 minutes in Ward 7, split by area.

Fair to each person
People is about individuals, and we don’t pretend otherwise. So we built it to be fair to them. Live places are masked by default. Seeing one takes a reason, and every look is recorded: who looked, at whom, why and when.

People starts from one assumption: where a person is, and for how long, is sensitive. So privacy isn’t a policy written beside the system and hoped for. It is built into how the system behaves, how its records are reached, and how much of them anyone can see. Six protections do that work, on every screen, every day.

From one person to the whole hospital
People helps a hospital see how time, movement and activity unfold across its teams and spaces. Beyond one team’s morning, these are the screens that show the whole of it, as People’s own web console has them.
01 Every presence, after a delay
The Presence screen lists every stay in a zone: who, where, when, for how long, and the work it held. Records appear only twelve hours after they end, so they serve planning, not watching. Here, last night’s stay arrives as its twelve hours pass.
Presence
Shown after a 12-hour delay 02 How a zone is used
Each zone keeps its traffic: how long it was occupied, by what kind of work, in which of its areas. This is Ward 7 this morning, with Dr. Nalintra’s and Dr. Kamala’s rounds inside it.
03 Routine work, by team
Recurring work is defined once, binding teams and zones together. Here is Ward Rounding today across every team, with the time People can’t be sure of kept apart, never guessed.
04 Zones, drawn your way
A zone follows how the work is organized, not the lines of the floor plan. Rooms are grouped into Areas of Interest, each bound to its work. Corridors belong to none, so they are never observed.
05 The whole hospital, at a glance
The Real Time Dashboard counts the hospital as it is now: who is in a zone, which zones are busy or empty, and how today’s time has been spent, hour by hour. Numbers, not names.

Last update: In Real-Time One system, many roles
Doctors are where this page began, not where People ends. Every role in a hospital moves differently, works under different constraints, and needs its own understanding of presence and activity. One system serves them all, each in a workspace of its own.

Doctors
Ward rounds, consultations and on-call duty, without interrupting care.

Nurses
The coordination and movement across the ward that shape a day’s workload.

Patients
Where it is right to: less waiting, safer and more predictable journeys.

Technicians
Technical work across wards and service areas, answered faster.

Housekeeping
Cleaning routines and coverage, without manual reporting.

Security
Sensitive and restricted areas covered, and ready to respond.
One badge, set up on a phone
Linking a person to a badge takes a phone and a moment: choose the member, find the badge nearby, assign it. No forms and no specialist tools, and it can be changed or removed whenever assignments change. Here is Dr. Mana’s first morning.
